My Three Positives in Memory of Tim
1. Writing assessments are done.
2. I made some progress on report cards.
3. I was able to get the clock in my car set to the correct time.
All month I’ll be joining my sister in focusing on three positives a day in memory of my brother-in-law.
Cold stays.
Spring still delayed.
Blooms cautiously appear.
Asparagus searches for sun.
Hopes rise.

I toss and turn throughout the night.
Nothing seems to bring relief.
Sleep eludes me.
Overestimating the time that’s passed.
Mind starts writing the next day’s slice.
Noting words that would be just right.
Is saving daylight the cause?
A long day follows a sleepless night.
